A Blue Point man already facing sex trafficking charges has been hit with a second indictment accusing him of exploiting another woman through drugs, violence and sexual assault, Suffolk County prosecutors said.

Torrey Brown, 36, also known as “Smiley,” was indicted on sex trafficking and rape charges after allegedly forcing a 33-year-old woman into commercial sex acts, according to Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond Tierney.

Brown was previously indicted in June for allegedly using similar tactics to force a 29-year-old woman into commercial sex acts for money.

“This indictment contains allegations involving a second survivor who has now come forward,” Tierney said. “Torrey Brown allegedly supplied the victim with drugs, then used withdrawal and violence to force her into having sex with strangers for money.”

Prosecutors allege Brown met the second woman in September 2025 and began what she initially believed was a romantic relationship. Brown allegedly took control of her phone and posted online advertisements offering commercial sex acts.

Authorities allege Brown supplied the woman with crack and heroin and withheld the drugs, causing withdrawal symptoms, when she refused to engage in sex acts. He also allegedly assaulted her until she complied.

Brown allegedly stayed nearby to immediately collect money from customers and held the woman against her will at various motels and hotels, prosecutors said.

Authorities also allege Brown forcibly raped the woman twice, once in January and again in March.

The woman contacted Suffolk County Police in July after Brown had been arrested in connection with the first alleged victim.

Brown was arraigned on two counts of first-degree rape, sex trafficking by force and three additional sex trafficking counts.

He was ordered held on $500,000 cash bail, $2 million bond or $5 million partially secured bond.

Brown faces up to 25 years to life in prison if convicted of the top count. He is due back in court November 17th.

Brown is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
