Illegal Immigrant From Honduras Guilty Of Sexually Abusing Girls

A Honduran immigrant convicted of repeatedly sexually abusing his young daughter and stepdaughter now faces up to 46 years behind bars, and ICE is waiting to take custody of him.

The 40-year-old Huntington Station man was convicted of one count of first-degree Course of Sexual Conduct, three counts of first-degree Sexual Abuse and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Prosecutors are withholding his name to protect the identities of the children.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement has lodged a detainer seeking custody of the Honduran immigrant following his Suffolk County prosecution, according to the DA’s office.

Prosecutors said the horrifying abuse began with his stepdaughter.

He showed the girl pornography when she was approximately 6 years old, according to evidence presented at trial. Shortly after she turned 10 in December 2020, prosecutors said he began sexually abusing her. The abuse continued through July 2021.

He was forced from the home in 2022 after relatives raised concerns about his behavior.

Three years later, prosecutors said, he began visiting his biological daughter and sexually abusing her when she was 10.

The abuse was finally exposed in July 2025 when a family member discovered a diary entry in which the girl described what had happened. Police were called, and the defendant was arrested July 22, 2025.

“The defendant used the trust and access given to a father to prey on his two young daughters,” District Attorney Raymond Tierney said.

He is scheduled for sentencing November 6th.
