Going Rogue podcast spotlights foreign interference in American elections and efforts by U.S. intelligence officials to thwart attempts to expose widespread ballot manipulation.

Voter integrity experts delivered a chilling account of international election manipulation and government obstruction during a live taping of Logan’s 100th Going Rogue podcast at the America First Warehouse in Ronkonkoma Saturday night.

Former CIA officer Gary Berntsen, Venezuelan financial investigator Martin Rodil, and bestselling author Ralph Pezzullo described their years-long investigation into electronic voting systems they say originated in Venezuela and subsequently became tools for manipulating elections worldwide.

Berntsen, who helped lead the hunt for Osama bin Laden following the September 11 terrorist attacks, reported that foreign intelligence networks, particularly those connected to Venezuela, Cuba, and China, penetrated American institutions and compromised election security. He also criticized intelligence officials for obstructing efforts to expose the operation.

Rodil, whose background includes investigating Latin American money laundering and organized crime, described interviewing Venezuelan software engineers who helped develop technology that can alter ballot totals. He said their testimony revealed sophisticated manipulation methods concealed within electronic voting systems.

“They showed us exactly how they did it,” Rodil told the podcast audience. “Digital voting records can be easily manipulated,” he said, urging a return to paper balloting.

The investigators recounted their frustrating efforts to bring their findings to federal authorities, stating that senior level officials within the CIA and FBI sought to discredit their work rather than investigate the evidence. They were particularly critical of the intelligence community’s failure to inform President Trump or Congress of the foreign interference.

Pezzullo, who documented the investigation in his book, Stolen Elections: The Plot to Destroy Democracy, described how the cheating operation extended into dozens of countries, threatening democratic elections on an international scale.

“The software was designed to steal elections and now it's in practically every voting machine throughout the United States,” Berntsen said.

“If you mentioned any of this in 2020, you were savaged in the press,” noted Logan, who covered wars and conflicts around the globe during her career with CBS News. “We have a cable from Caracas stating that the whole thing was from a dictator who hated the U.S. What could go wrong?”
