Lara Logan Brings Election Fight to Long Island

Award-winning investigative journalist Lara Logan is bringing her election integrity investigation to Long Island Saturday, October 17, for a live broadcast of the 100th episode of her “Going Rogue” podcast at the America First Warehouse in Ronkonkoma.

The former CBS “60 Minutes” war correspondent will be joined by former Colorado election official Tina Peters and a panel of researchers examining allegations of election manipulation, voting technology vulnerabilities and disputed results surrounding the 2020 presidential election.

Logan described the upcoming program as a comprehensive examination of election security controversies.

“We’re going to be doing the show live. And the subject is election integrity,” Logan said. “I’m tired of getting little pieces of information.”

Logan said the discussion will trace allegations involving Venezuela through the 2020 election, examining voting patterns, statistical analyses and methods critics claim could be used to manipulate results.

Among the featured guests is Peters, the former Mesa County, Colorado, clerk convicted in 2024 of offenses stemming from unauthorized access to election equipment during her investigation of alleged voting irregularities. She received a nine-year prison sentence before Democratic Gov. Jared Polis commuted it in May 2026. Peters was released on parole June 1. Her case remains controversial, with supporters defending her actions and state officials condemning the security breach.

Logan praised Peters’ continued activism following her release.

“Tina is right there in this fight. She’s just amazing,” Logan said. “Since she got out of prison, she hasn’t stopped.”

Other scheduled participants include Gary Berntsen, Martin Rodil, Ralph Pezzullo, Ed Solomon, Dr. Andrew Paquette, Mark Cook and Joe Hoft.

The event begins Saturday evening at the America First Warehouse, 90 13th Avenue. General admission doors open at 6:30 p.m., with tickets available through the venue’s website.
