Repeat Exposure: Cops Report Accused Flasher Busted Again

A Ronkonkoma man accused of turning Suffolk County parking lots into his own X-rated peep show is facing fresh charges after allegedly exposing himself to two more women, while already free on similar charges.
And prosecutors say New York's bail laws have left them with their hands tied.
Nicholas Critelli, 20, allegedly masturbated in front of four unsuspecting women during separate incidents in June and October, according to Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond Tierney.
His alleged behavior wasn't exactly subtle.
On October 14, Critelli allegedly approached a woman outside a Commack Target, calling out, “Oh my god. You’re so pretty. Are you from around here?”
Prosecutors say he was masturbating while delivering that unwanted introduction.
Two weeks earlier, Critelli allegedly exposed himself inside his vehicle at a Centereach Walmart parking lot.
But this wasn't his first alleged public performance according to prosecutors.
In June, Critelli allegedly exposed himself outside a Sayville Target. Two days later, prosecutors say he approached another woman in a Sayville neighborhood, requesting her Snapchat information while masturbating.
He was arrested June 16 and released without bail following his July arraignment.
Despite the earlier charges, prosecutors say the alleged misconduct continued.
“The defendant’s alleged behavior is abhorrent. And New York’s broken bail laws allow him to allegedly do this again and again and again,” Tierney said.
Critelli was arrested again October 16 and arraigned on two additional public lewdness charges.
Prosecutors say the offenses are not bail eligible under New York law, preventing them from requesting that Critelli be held on bail.
He was instead placed on supervised release.
Investigators fear there may be additional victims.
Critelli, who is presumed innocent, returns to court November 4.
Anyone with information should contact Suffolk County Police at 631-854-8452.
For prosecutors, the concern is no laughing matter: four alleged incidents, four women, and a defendant repeatedly released without bail.
