Swiftly Cashing In on TNF

Kyle Monangai has officially been ruled out for tonight’s matchup against New England, leaving D’Andre Swift in line to handle the bulk of the Bears’ backfield work. Roschon Johnson looked good last week, but when it comes to trust and opportunity, Swift remains Chicago’s primary weapon out of the backfield.
The number I’m looking at is 14.5 receiving yards, and I believe this line is simply too low.
Swift has recorded at least 16 receiving yards in every game this season except one, when he was dealing with an injury. He has totaled 140 receiving yards on 18 receptions through six games, averaging 23.3 yards per game. That average gives us nearly a nine-yard cushion over tonight’s prop line.
Monangai’s absence further strengthens the case. With Swift expected to shoulder more responsibility, the Bears have every reason to get him involved as both a runner and a receiver. Even if New England makes Chicago work for its yards on the ground, checkdowns and short passes to Swift can provide another avenue to move the chains.
The Patriots are also dealing with injuries in their defensive backfield, with cornerbacks Carlton Davis III, Channing Canada and Karon Prunty ruled out. While those absences don't guarantee more opportunities for Swift, they could influence how New England approaches coverage and tackles in space.
I’m not asking Swift to break a big play or have a monster night. We simply need him to do what he has consistently done this season: catch a few passes and turn them into productive gains.
At 14.5 receiving yards, the bar is low enough to make this an appealing value play. I expect Swift to clear it quickly, and I wouldn't be surprised if he finishes with more than 20 receiving yards.
My Play: D’Andre Swift OVER 14.5 Receiving Yards.
