Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in identifying a group of suspects accused of vandalizing property and stealing items from a popular Blue Point beachside business over the Independence Day weekend.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in identifying a group of suspects accused of vandalizing property and stealing items from a popular Blue Point beachside business over the Independence Day weekend.

According to Suffolk County Police, a group of males allegedly damaged a golf cart, knocked down a fence and stole keys from Bodhi’s Beach Shack at Corey Beach at approximately 3 a.m. on July 5.

The incident is being investigated by Fifth Precinct Crime Section officers, who are working to identify and locate those responsible.

Authorities have not released descriptions of the suspects or indicated the value of the damage or stolen property.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to submit an anonymous tip by calling Suffolk County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. Tips may also be submitted through the P3 Tips mobile app, available in the Apple App Store and Google Play, or online at www.P3Tips.com.

Police said all calls, text messages and online submissions will remain confidential.

The investigation is being conducted by the Suffolk County Police Department's Fifth Precinct Crime Section.
