Legendary CIA Operative Coming to Long Island
From the battlefields of Afghanistan to the fight over election integrity, one of America's most decorated intelligence officers will bring his extraordinary experience to a special gathering in Ronkonkoma.

Gary Berntsen, the former CIA commander who helped lead the hunt for Osama bin Laden following the September 11 terrorist attacks, will be a featured guest Saturday at the America First Warehouse for the 100th episode of Lara Logan's Going Rogue podcast.
The rare appearance by the highly decorated intelligence veteran will highlight a three-day weekend of events, with Saturday's program focusing on allegations of election fraud, foreign interference and vulnerabilities in America's voting systems.
Berntsen spent more than two decades with the CIA, directing counterterrorism operations across the globe. He commanded the agency's Jawbreaker team in Afghanistan, hunting Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda operatives. His exploits became the subject of the bestselling book Jawbreaker, co-written with Ralph Pezzullo. Berntsen received the CIA's Distinguished Intelligence Medal and Intelligence Star.
During an appearance on Steve Bannon's War Room, Logan described Berntsen as an exceptional figure whose participation alone makes the event noteworthy.
"Gary Berntsen is an absolute legend," Logan said. "The opportunity to be around him and see him in person" is unusual because "Gary doesn't do this kind of thing too often."
Calling him a "force of nature," Logan praised his intelligence background and current efforts investigating election security.
Berntsen will appear alongside former Venezuelan investigator Martin Rodil, Pezzullo, election technology researchers and former Colorado election official Tina Peters, who was jailed for questioning the 2020 election. Logan said the program will examine allegations involving Venezuela, voting technology and American elections.
"We're going to document, really lay it out for people," Logan said, emphasizing the importance of understanding election procedures.
Saturday's program anchors a three-day weekend at the America First Warehouse, 90 13th Avenue.
Friday features a screening of Remember the Alamo: Don't Sharia My Texas, examining Islamic political influence and legal issues in Texas.
Sunday brings an intelligence training program and an evening appearance by retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, focusing on constitutional issues and civic engagement.
