Police Seek Suspect in $3,598 Patchogue Best Buy MacBook Theft

Suffolk County police are asking the public to help identify a man suspected of stealing two Apple MacBook laptops from a Best Buy store in Patchogue, police said Sunday. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Fifth Squad detectives said the suspect took two MacBooks, valued at $3,598, from the Best Buy located on the Sunrise Service Road on March 2 at approximately 3:20 p.m. Detectives are seeking the public's help to identify and locate the suspect, police said. No further physical description of the suspect was provided in the police announcement.
