Shirley Deli Worker Charged in Underage Alcohol Sale

A deli employee was arrested after allegedly selling alcohol to an underage police agent during a Suffolk County Police operation prompted by community complaints.

A deli employee was arrested after allegedly selling alcohol to an underage police agent during a Suffolk County Police operation prompted by community complaints.

Seventh Precinct Criminal Investigative Unit officers conducted the underage alcohol sale operation at V&W Parkway Deli, located at 431 William Floyd Parkway in Shirley, at approximately 3:10 p.m. on August 26th.

Police said an underage agent entered the store and was sold an alcoholic beverage by an employee.

Leydi Molina Flores, 37, of Hampton Bays, was arrested and charged with first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child.

Molina Flores was issued a Field Appearance Ticket and is scheduled to appear at First District Court in Central Islip at a later date.
