Nesaquake Field Hockey Completes Perfect Season

The Nesaquake Middle School field hockey team put together a remarkable season, finishing with a perfect 10-0 record while shutting out every opponent along the way.

Under the guidance of head coach Jon Feiler, the team was ranked No. 1 among middle school field hockey teams in Suffolk County, capping off an undefeated campaign that showcased the players' teamwork, talent and determination.

Even more impressive than the Colonials' perfect record was their defensive performance. Nesaquake did not allow a single goal in all 10 games, a testament to the effort and commitment of the entire team.

Holding opponents scoreless throughout an entire season is no easy task. It takes strong communication, disciplined defense and a collective commitment from every player on the field. The team's success reflected that approach, as the athletes consistently worked together to keep opposing offenses from finding the back of the net.

Feiler's squad also demonstrated that winning soccer and field hockey games requires contributions from everyone, from the defensive unit and goalkeeper to the midfielders and forwards who helped control possession and create scoring opportunities.

The undefeated finish and impressive defensive numbers made this a season to remember for Nesaquake, establishing a standard the program can build on in the years ahead.
