This one has all the makings of a low-scoring battle early.

The Brewers hand the ball to Logan Henderson, and the young right-hander is finally starting to show why he's considered one of the brightest young arms in baseball after battling through injuries. Henderson has been outstanding lately, allowing just three runs over his last three starts and only 13 runs in eight starts all season. When he's healthy, he has the stuff to dominate, and this is a great matchup for him.

The Pirates' offense is still trying to find its footing after the trade deadline, and injuries haven't helped matters. This isn't the same lineup it was a few weeks ago, and Henderson should be able to keep them in check.

Pittsburgh counters with Jared Jones, who is also beginning to round into form after an injury-plagued season. Jones has quietly been just as impressive, surrendering only six runs over his last five starts. Even more encouraging, he's held nine of his last 10 opponents to three runs or fewer, proving he's capable of matching zeros with just about anyone.

Both starters are trending in the right direction, and neither offense is exactly swinging the bats with much confidence at the moment. Milwaukee has been inconsistent at the plate, while Pittsburgh continues to search for answers after roster changes and injuries.

Everything points to a pitchers' duel through the early innings.

Give me the First Five Innings Under 4.5 Runs. With Henderson and Jones both throwing the ball well, I expect this game to stay quiet early before the bullpens take over.
