The Long Island Ducks added another honor to their championship season as three key members of the 2026 team were selected to the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball Clubs Postseason All-Star Team.

Outfielder Jorge Bonifacio, shortstop Wilmer Difo and closer Ramon Santos were all selected to the team, which was voted on by the league’s member clubs. The trio played important roles in helping the Ducks capture their fifth Atlantic League Championship.

“Jorge, Wilmer and Ramon each played a vital role in helping us win our fifth Atlantic League Championship,” Ducks manager Lew Ford said. “All three are very deserving of selection, and we are very proud of them for all they accomplished.”

Bonifacio put together a historic season, setting Ducks single-season franchise records with 30 home runs and 108 RBIs. In 112 games, the 33-year-old hit .271 with a .926 OPS, 112 hits, 95 runs, 28 doubles, four triples, 55 walks and 12 stolen bases.

He was also flawless defensively, committing no errors in 86 games in the outfield. Bonifacio was additionally named to the ALPB Drake All-Defensive Team and selected as the Ducks’ 2026 Team MVP.

Difo also made franchise history by stealing 60 bases, breaking Mel Stocker’s previous Ducks record of 56 set in 2006. His 60 steals ranked third in the Atlantic League. The eight-year MLB veteran also led Long Island with 119 hits and 88 walks while batting .286 with 16 home runs, 68 RBIs and 91 runs scored.

Santos was one of the league’s most dominant closers, posting a 1.40 ERA, 0.83 WHIP and .096 batting average against. His 13 saves ranked third in the league, while he struck out 75 batters in 38.2 innings.

The honor marks the 23rd season in which the Ducks have had a player selected to the Atlantic League Postseason All-Star Team. Long Island’s three selections are also its most since 2015, when four Ducks earned the honor.
