A 57-year-old Brentwood man allegedly trafficked a teenage girl for two years, arranging for local men to pay him for sex with the victim, Suffolk County police announced Wednesday.

Luis Parada was arrested Tuesday morning following a police raid at 4 MacArthur Avenue that also resulted in two other men being arrested on drug charges.

Investigators believe the victim was just 15 years old when the alleged trafficking began. She is now 17.

According to police, Parada allegedly raped the teenager and collected payments from other men to sexually exploit her.

The disturbing allegations surfaced approximately two weeks ago when Third Squad detectives suspected a teenager was being trafficked at the Brentwood address.

The department's Human Trafficking Investigations Unit launched an investigation, culminating in Tuesday's 6:40 a.m. search warrant.

Detectives seized a 1987 Winnebago, 22 cell phones, a replica firearm, a machete, electronic devices and forensic evidence.

Police are also investigating whether narcotics played a role in the alleged trafficking operation.

Parada faces charges of third-degree rape, sex trafficking of a minor and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Two other Brentwood residents, Rigoberto Celisgarcia, 48, and Amado Campos, 59, were arrested on misdemeanor drug possession charges.

Both received desk appearance tickets and will appear in Central Islip court at later dates.

Parada was held overnight at the Third Precinct pending his October 28 arraignment.

Investigators are examining whether additional charges are warranted against any of the three men or other potential suspects.

Police are urging anyone with information to contact the Human Trafficking Investigations Unit at 631-854-7512 or anonymously call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.

All three defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
