Bayport-Blue Point's Tim Mullins Concludes Distinguished NYSPHSAA Service

After six years of dedicated leadership, Bayport-Blue Point Athletic Director Tim Mullins concluded his final meeting as a member of the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) Central Committee during this week's gathering in Buffalo.

Mullins, who has served as NYSPHSAA President while continuing his role as athletic director at Bayport-Blue Point, has been a respected voice for high school athletics throughout New York State. During his time on the Central Committee, he helped guide decisions that impacted thousands of student-athletes, coaches, and school communities across the state.

His commitment to promoting sportsmanship, educational athletics, and opportunities for student-athletes has earned him the respect of colleagues both on Long Island and throughout New York.

As his tenure came to a close, Section XI recognized Mullins for his years of outstanding service.

"Thank you, Tim, for six years of dedicated service to the New York State Public High School Athletic Association and for representing Section XI with professionalism, integrity, and unwavering commitment," Section XI shared in a statement.

The organization continued by saying, "Congratulations on a job well done, and thank you for everything you've done for student-athletes and interscholastic athletics across New York."

While Mullins' time on the NYSPHSAA Central Committee has come to an end, his impact on high school athletics will continue to be felt for years to come.
