Moriches resident Carolyn Borak delivered a remarkable performance at the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games in Minnesota, bringing home an impressive collection of medals while proudly representing Team New York.

Borak captured two gold medals and one silver medal in bocce, showcasing her skill, determination and competitive spirit on one of the nation's biggest stages for Special Olympics athletes. Her outstanding achievement is a testament to the countless hours of hard work and dedication she has invested in her sport.

Competing against talented athletes from across the country, Borak rose to the occasion and represented both her community and New York State with pride.
