The talented squad has continued its outstanding postseason run, building on the momentum it established by capturing the 2026 District 36 12U Championship. Now, with another victory, North Shore has the opportunity to add a sectional title to an already memorable summer.
North Shore earned its district crown in an All-North Shore District 36 championship game played on its home field, Doubleday Field in Miller Place. In a classic pitchers' duel, the National League team edged the American League team by a 2-0 score, securing the district championship and advancing to sectional play.
The team carried that momentum into the next round, traveling to the Plainview Little League Complex, where it defeated Levittown to continue its championship march.
Most recently, North Shore delivered another strong performance, defeating Half Hollow Hills Little League to punch its ticket to the Section 4 East Championship game. The victory showcased the team's outstanding pitching, timely hitting and steady defense, qualities that have fueled its impressive tournament run.
Now, the stakes get even bigger.
North Shore enters the Section 4 East Championship just one win away from another title and the chance to continue its postseason journey. Throughout the tournament, the players have represented their community with determination, teamwork and sportsmanship while embracing every challenge that has come their way.
With another championship within reach, the community will be cheering on North Shore as the team looks to cap another successful chapter in what has already been an unforgettable summer on the baseball diamond.
